TAJ MAHAL -:
The most photographed monument in the world, the Taj stands in its splendour of white marble, an imposing citadel on the banks of river Yamuna. Built in 17th century by Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal emperor, in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is an ode to the emperor’s eternal love for his wife. It took over 20,000 skilled workers from across the country, working day and night, for 22 years for this architectural wonder to be created.
AGRA FORT -:
Built in red sandstone, it is the one of the famous sights of Agra other than Taj Mahal. The semi circular fort was started by Akbar in 1565, and completed in 1574. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty till 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. The Agra fort is UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled city.
FATEHPUR SIKRI -:
En-route a brief exploration to the former royal city of Fatehpur Sikri (about 1.5 hrs), one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendor at its height, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water.Fatehpur Sikri is about 39 kilometres from Agra.

Amber Fort -:
Located amidst the picturesque and rocky Aravalli Hills, Amber Palace is a must-to-visit place in Jaipur. This palace was founded by Raja Man Singh I and was completed by Mirja Raja Jai Singh. The charming beauty of the red sandstone and white marble adds to the magnificence.
The scenic backdrop of the Maota Lake and panoramic views of sunrise and sunset contribute to the eternal beauty of this palace. Intricate wall paintings, frescos and the use of precious gems and jewels in these paintings add to its timeless beauty.
Hawa Mahal -:
Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds is also called Palace of the Breeze. It is one of the important places to visit in Jaipur. This unique building has 953 small windows, called jharokas, decorated with intricate lattice work. The entire palace represents the crown of the Hindu God, Lord Krishna and was built by Raja Sawai Singh.
The windows of this palace have been designed in such a way that irrespective of the time or season of the year, cool breeze always persists inside the palace. It reflects the scientific vision of Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in a distinct way.
Albert Hall Museum -:
After the foundation stone of this museum was laid in 1876 to commemorate the visit of the Prince of Wales, there arose confusion about the usage of this hall. Plenty of suggestions came in asking for using this hall for educational or political use, none of which held good!
This museum is also home to one of the six ‘Egyptian Mummies’ in India. This Mummy was gifted as a souvenir to the museum by the Brugsch Bey of the Museum of Cairo.
